With more and more people hitting the streets and trails for the exercise as the COVID-19 pandemic shuts down many other activities, sun protection brand KINeSYS is ramping up its 2020 Ambassador Program to help spread the word about sun safety. The 2020 KINeSYS Champion Program will feature over 40 Ambassadors – an increase on last year’s numbers – from around the globe, who embody the KINeSYS brand ideal, ‘However You Perform.’

Due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 outbreak, especially for those passionate about the outdoors, KINeSYS has committed to bringing forward the launch of this year’s program, to provide increased support to the community when it’s most needed.

“Although our community is quarantining and social distancing, there will be a time again soon when we can all pursue the outdoor activities we love, unencumbered, with family and friends,” says KINeSYS CEO Lisa Heggie. “In the meantime, stay well and enjoy staying active, however you can.”

Unlike similar brand ambassador programs, KINeSYS Champions hail from all walks of life. A mix of professional athletes and keen amateur sporting enthusiasts, the program aims to highlight the importance of sun protection for those who are passionate about keeping active in the outdoors.

“A KINeSYS Champion has an active outdoor lifestyle, embraces our brand ideal of ‘However You Perform’ and is passionate about sun protection,” says Heggie. “Our Champions are not all podium finishers or professional athletes, although some are.”

In return for social media coverage, a coveted ambassador profile page on the KINeSYS website, and well as an exclusive KINeSYS Champion Pack and product discounts, KINeSYS Champions will spread the message of sun-safe outdoor play; both through their own social media accounts, and getting in on the fun with regular community engagement through KINeSYS Instagram and Facebook posts.

“KINeSYS has always been a big believer in supporting our community in any way we can. During these uncertain times, KINeSYS Champions are more important than ever,” says KINeSYS co-owner, Wade Heggie “Whether encouraging safe social distancing while getting some outdoor exercise, or coming up with creative new ways to stay active while in isolation, KINeSYS Champions will play an important role in keeping our community active and healthy, and in keeping our spirits up!”

On the basis of applications received to date, this year’s line-up is set to be even more diverse than last year’s, and KINeSYS looks forward to the passion and community spirit the 2020 Ambassadors will bring to the program.
