Current ASICS North America president and COO, Richard Sullivan has been appointed ASICS North America president and CEO and named an executive officer of ASICS Corp.
Sullivan will continue to lead the North American region overseeing Canada, Mexico and the United States. His new appointments will go into effect January 1, 2022.
"Richard has shown great leadership for our North American region, especially during an incredibly complicated and challenging time," says Koichiro Kodama, ASICS managing executive officer. "He has been instrumental in navigating the business forward and we are so pleased to see such positive momentum and strong results for the brand across the region under his leadership.”
With more than 25 years of experience in the footwear industry, Sullivan was named president and COO of ASICS North America in October 2020. He joined the ASICS brand in 2016 as the president of ASICS Canada and served as the executive VP of ASICS North America overseeing digital, sales, marketing and merchandising from 2019 - 2020.
