 Superfeet Unveils ME3D Mobile Enhancement
Superfeet recently unveiled a first-of-its-kind technology enhancement to its proprietary ME3D platform that allows consumers to generate high-precision, 3D-printed personalized insoles through an iPhone scan on superfeet.com. And for those who prefer the in-store journey, select specialty run retailers can guide consumers through this scanning technology while delivering the personalized service and community connection that defines run specialty.

By bringing this foot-scanning technology into more places, Superfeet empowers runners to choose the experience that works best for them, whether scanning from home or connecting with their local running community in-store.

“This evolution allows us to deliver a level of individualized engineering that was once only possible through specialized in-person experiences, unlocking access to our most advanced one-of-one custom technology,“ explains Superfeet CEO, Trip Randall. “By putting this power into the hands of consumers, we ensure that whether you are at home or on the go, the highest standard of personalized support is just a few clicks away.”

The process is powered by a proprietary algorithm rooted in podiatric data and biomechanical research. After a guided scan, users unlock a fully interactive experience: they can analyze their unique foot profile, including shoe size and arch height, preview a 3D rendering of their insoles, and select from specialized foam options tailored to their activity level. To further elevate the bespoke nature of the product, the mobile experience allows for further personalization, including custom engraving directly on the back heel of the insoles. Upon checkout, the individualized biometric data is sent to Superfeet’s state-of-the-art 3D-printing facility in Bellingham, Wash., where the custom insoles are precision-engineered to the user’s exact specifications.

The updated offering introduces two high-performance foam options designed to match different fit preferences and ride feel. SuperRev delivers lightweight cushioning in a thin, versatile design for runners who prefer tighter-fitting, performance footwear. SuperRev Max features a supercritical beaded foam matrix engineered for kinetic cushioning and an energized, high-rebound feel, and fits best in roomier running footwear. Both options pair advanced foam with a precision 3D-printed support cap shaped directly from the user’s scan. This includes a custom arch support profile created to match the geometry of each foot, a stability lattice structure that scales in thickness based on body mass to optimize support, and a heel cutout designed to protect against impact forces while providing a more flexible, cushioned feel.

The ME3D mobile scanning experience launches directly from superfeet.com.
