IMG Academy has entered into a partnership with Aetrex, naming the company its Official Foot Scanning Technology and Athletic Insole Partner. The agreement brings foot scanning technology and orthotics to the Bradenton, FL, sports education campus.

Under the partnership, IMG Academy will install five Aetrex Albert Pro 3D foot scanners across campus and provide Aetrex athletic insoles to every student-athlete arriving this fall. The Albert Pro scanner captures measurements of each student-athlete's foot, including arch type, pressure distribution underfoot, 16 key 3D foot measurements and movement and gait patterns. Those measurements are used to identify individualized support options intended to improve comfort, alignment, and movement efficiency.

The partnership also connects to IMG Academy's existing relationship with Under Armour, its performance apparel and footwear partner. Through the Aetrex FitAI footwear recommendation platform, student-athletes can receive footwear suggestions based on their foot profile, sport-specific demands and performance goals.

Beginning this fall, all IMG Academy student-athletes will have their feet scanned with the Albert Pro 3D technology during onboarding and receive personalized foot assessments and complimentary Aetrex insoles.
